Fisher Motors 1965 – located at 314 First St. SW (on the corner of
Broadway and Burdick Expressway) … In the
summer of 1965, Fisher Motors announced the addition of the Volvo franchise to
their lineup of automobiles…. Volvo was reported to be the car that outlasted
the payment book… Fishers had added Volvo parts to their inventory and had
factory trained mechanics…. The Volvo lineup consisted of 5 different models…
