Minot 1915 – 1915 Tales From Old Timers #16 Pt 2 –
No one can fully appreciate Minot unless they spend a few days within
her gates. The city lies in a beautiful valley of wonderful fertility and
resources. The river, winding in and out in graceful curves, the banks covered
with foliage and natural beauties, leave a lasting impression on all visitors.
Minot’s beautiful homes, churches, and public buildings are the wonder of all
who go “sight-seeing” and it is hard to picture the Minot of today (1915) as
the rough, tough, lawless town of 25 years ago
