Downtown Minot 1965 – In December of 1965 Downtown Minot was
“the heart of the area’s largest and most complete shopping district. Downtown
Minot boasted 690 business firms in their trade area. Downtown Minot claimed
they gave you Variety, Service and Price… all of that added up to more shopping
pleasure. Their motto was “If It’s in Town,
It’s Downtown. The Downtown merchants also provided free parking to
customers in the Downtown Parking lots with Park and Shop. When shopping you
could have your parking voucher validated at participating merchants.
